Experience the essence of yoga with with our Hatha Yoga 4-week course.
Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) to achieve balance between body and mind. In our beginner-friendly class, you’ll explore foundational yoga poses and breathing techniques at a slower pace, allowing you to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
A Hatha Yoga class is designed to deepen your practice and enhance your well-being. Each week, we will focus on specific areas of the body, incorporating essential elements of yoga such as pranayam/breathwork, meditation, kriyas (cleansing techniques), and mudras (hand gestures). This comprehensive approach ensures a balanced and holistic experience, suitable for all levels.
Classes are one hour long, blending breathwork and relaxation techniques with a Hatha Yoga sequence to balance the mind and body. Props, straps, and blankets are provided to ensure maximum support and alignment during the session; just bring your own mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or seeking a gentle approach, Hatha Yoga offers a nurturing environment for your well-being journey.
The next 3 weeks:
25 September: Chest Openers & Upper Body Strength
- Opening the chest and strengthening the upper body with breath expansion techniques
2 October: Core Stability & Balance
- Building core strength and improving balance with focused yoga, breathwork and meditation
9 October: Integrative Practice & Deep Relaxation
- Integrating all elements learned, promoting deep relaxation with a comprehensive Hatha practice
